Grandview Lake is a private lake for use by its members and shareholders.

Fishing rules are listed below and are enforced by the Lake Sheriff and Grandview Board of Directors.

We have many new folks enjoying our beautiful "piece of paradise" here in the mountains. I would like to send out a reminder of our fishing regulations to everyone.

Rod and reel fishing only. No trot lines or jug fishing( i.e. a baited line attached to a float). No gill net fishing. No fish traps except for bait. No bow fishing.

No introduction of plants, fish (including minnows and shad for bait), amphibians, reptiles, birds or mammals. All of these can introduce new diseases which have plagued many of the reservoirs throughout the southeast. Baitfish and crayfish procured from Grandview waters are permitted with a trap or seine.

The trout and the walleye are stocked and paid for by the shareholders. It comes from voluntary contributions to the fish fund. Please contribute to keep the lake stocked and healthy.

Here are the the agreed upon fishing regulations:

Rainbow trout- two per person per day limit.     Brook trout- catch and release only
Largemouth bass-no limit any size                    Crappie- five per day per person limit

Please add your contribution to your annual invoice or mail a check to PO Box 536, Jasper GA 30143.

Make sure you add "fish fund" in the "for" line at the bottom of the check.
